- Wildlife on the property includes deer, elk, black bear, cougars and bobcats

- Standing snags found on the property are vital habitat for bird species

- This is one of the largest areas of shellfish production in the US and yields 30% of all shellfish harvested in this county

- CLC plans to manage the property with selective thinning of the upland forest
