- The property was used for cattle farming before ForTerra ownership
- ForTerra is working to remove invasive species and replanting portions of the site
- The Queets is one of the few rivers in the U.S. that is undimmed and undiked from its headwaters to its mouth. It is one of the most pristine river drainages in Washington
and flows through Olympic National Park
